Fiery Warpath Equipment Check and Mice Introduction

Welcome to the Fiery Warpath Briefing Outpost!
(Remember! This is only a simple guide to help you with equipment checks if you're not sure, but feel free to do it as you like). And remember, to gain entry to the Fiery Warpath and the Sandtail Dessert, you need to have the Sandtail Call to Arms, which you can get by already catching 1 Silth mouse, 1 Technic King mouse, and 1 Mystic King mouse. After you have caught all of the mice, head to the Seasonal Garden and catch a:
- Spring: Puddlemancer and Spring Familiar
- Summer: Firebreather
- Fall: Harvest Harrier and Fall Familiar
- Winter: Bruticle

After you get the Sandtail Call to Arms, read the other sections below:

Equipment:
Ok, this is the basic and one of the most important things that could really help you in the warpath! These are the minimum requirememts to be able to hold off the waves and successfully finishing them off (My version):

1.) Trap(s): Even though there are Physical, Tactical, Draconic, and Arcane type of mice in the warpath, the most effective trap and the one that you will use oftenly is the Enraged Rhinobot (When you are a Baron/Baroness and you just went to the Warpath without any LE traps). That's the main trap requirement in the warpath, other traps that aren't LE, like the Ancient Spear Gun, Arcane Capturing Rod of Never Yielding Mystery, and Zugzwang's First Move is better for some mice, but considering sometimes you have to deal with three power type mice together, doing the good-for-all power type saves you time and minimizes stress.

2.) Base(s): The best base you can get when you enter the Warpath is either the Spellbook base or the Golden Tournament Base (if you participate in lots of tournaments). Either those two, don't use anything else in the Warpath (or if you want to endure, then use the Molten Shrapnel Base).

3.) Cheese(s): The cheese that is used in here is mostly Gouda, it attracts most of the mice, but if you want to have a better attraction rate, you can use SB|+, because the SB|+ attracts more Crimson Commander and less Caravan Guard mice. (More on these two mice will be explained later)

4.) Charm(s): The charms that are used here are specific and are sold in the Charm Shoppe in the Warpath. There are 8 different kinds of charms, but if you don't use SB|+ a lot, you will only commonly use 3/5:
- Warpath Warrior Charm: Costs 450 gold and 1 Ionized Salt (350 gold), costs 800 gold all together. This charm is used to attract Warrior (Dessert Warrior, Flame Warrior, Crimson Titan) type mice to your trap and are great for creating streaks with the same mice.
- Warpath Archer Charm: Costs 450 gold and 1 Ionized Salt (350 gold), costs 800 gold all together. This charm is used to attract Archer (Dessert Archer, Flame Archer, Crimson Ranger) type mice to your trap and are great for creating streaks with the same mice.
- Warpath Scout Charm: Costs 450 gold and 1 Ionized Salt (350 gold), costs 800 gold all together. This charm is used to attract Scout (Vanguard, Sentinel, Crimson Watch) type mice to your trap and are great for creating streaks with the same mice.
- Super Warpath Warrior/Archer/Scout Charm: Costs 100 gold and 1 SB|+, costs 100+SB|+ current price all together. The same use as the original charm, but it has better attraction and gives a little boost of power when attracting the respective mouse.
- Warpath Cavalry Charm: costs according to Marketplace price, this charm attracts more Cavalry mice to your trap, and if you use this trap, I suggest using the respective power type trap (Tactical).
- Warpath Mage Charm: costs according to Marketplace price, this charm attracts more Mage mice to your trap, and if you use this trap, I suggest using the respective power type trap (Hydro).

Mice:
- Warriors: These are the front line of every wave, and the mice that is the strongest among the Warriors-Scouts-Archers trio. People usually seek out to eliminate these mice first, because they tend to cause lots of misses. The difficulty of the Warrior mice from the 1st-2nd-3rd wave cannot be called a short  gap, as the mice get really hard to catch from wave to wave, especially the 3rd wave.
- Archers: As for any war, there are always the long-ranged weapon type. The archers are not that hard to catch, and the difficulty gap is not that huge, however, same with the Warriors, in wave 3, they almost as difficult as the Warriors.
- Scouts: Aside from the long-ranged, there is always the scouts. These are not that hard to catch, and even in the 3rd wave, I think you won't really have that much difficulty wiping out the Scouts, although sometimes, they would give you a rough time.
- Cavalries: A really though mice with a huge difficulty gap, from the 2nd to the 3rd wave. The Sand Cavalry is already difficult, and the Sandwing Cavalry in the 3rd wave is even more difficult, for this mouse, you need patience.
- Mages: An odd party for a war battalion, even so, they cannot be underestimated. Even though their numbers are small, compared to the other mice, they still pack a punch, and will sometimes leave the journal white-red too.

Support Mouse:
- Crimson Commander: This mouse plays an important role in the Warpath, although it cannot be seen on the 4th Wave, it's appearance on the 1st-3rd Wave is very important. If you succeed to catch this mouse, a number of mouse will be decreased from each class of the battalion as much as the number of mouse you have on your streak counter. However, if you have 0 streak, a total of 1 mouse will be removed from every class of the battalion.
- Caravan Guard: This is the counter part of the Crimson Commander, while the commander decreases the number of mice, the Caravan Guard will increase the number of each class of mice in the battlaion by 1, should you fail to catch it.
- Gargantua: This is like a triumph card for the Warmonger. Should you be able to reach the 7th streak, this mouse will be released in to play. It's weakness is only Draconic, which isn't any other mice in the battalion's weakness. Should you fail to catch this mouse, your streak will be broken.

These mice will retreat once a number of mouse is left on the battalion. Wave 1 (10 mouse), Wave 2 (18 mouse), Wave 3 (26 mouse). Except for the Gargantua mouse, this mouse won't retreat even if you have less than the number of mice needed for the support mice to retreat.

Strategy:
This is a complicated part, but if you take a few runs, you should get the hang of it and able to create your own strategy that fits you best. A great strategy for your first run, and if you're using the Enraged Rhinobot-Spellbook/Golden Tournament Base-Warpath Charms-Gouda. I suggest:
- Wave 1: Buy charms 50 for all (this is the 1st wave, so the mice aren't that really though tough, using 50 will leave you about 10-30 left overs)
- Wave 2: Buy charms 50 for all (this is the 2nd wave, the mice aren't that hard, using 50 will leave you about 10-25 left overs)
- Wave 3: Buy charms 70 for all (this is the 3rd and final wave that you will be using Warpath charms, and also the hardest difficulty of Warriors-Archers-Scouts, using 70 will leave you with about 10-20 left overs)
- Wave 4: This wave is the hardest, also with the really less mice, only 12 Theurgy Wardens and 1 Warmonger mouse. But, you can't streak the Wardens, and usually your first Monger will be caught after about 10-15 misses, or less if you're luckier

Streaks, Breaks, and the Commander Charms:
Streaking is an important part of the Warpath, as it would allow you to advance faster through the mice in the Warpath. So, the main rule is that if you catch 3 of the same class, 2 will retreat, if you catch 3 more, 4 will retreat, if you catch 3 more, 6 will retreat. Should you be able to go until the 9th streak, you will already remove 21 mouse of the same class!

However, reaching a really high level of streak is hard enough, even with a charm equipped, and if you reach the 7th streak, a Gargantua mouse will be released in to play, so there is a chance that you will fail to reach further than 7. But, to make worth of the streak that you have got, you can arm a Warpath Commander's Charm (given to you each time you defeat a Wave, has a special property of attracting Crimson Commander mouse in to your trap), and then arm SB|+, and hunt once, the chances are that you will catch a Crimson Commander mouse and remove a handful of mouse from the battalion, or your streak will be broken, that's why SB|+ is recommended for this hunt.

End of Briefing:
I don't really recommend using Warpath Cavalry Charm and Warpath Mage Charm, or even the greater version of those charms because those charms, if you don't have the materials, cost a lot, and sometimes will make you regret using them, moreover the greater ones, which have SB|+ bounded to them, as SB|+ price are not stable. I also don't recommend the usage of the greater version of the Warriors-Archers-Scouts charms because of the same reason, SB|+. However, if you have a lot of money and don't mind spending about more than 1,000,000 gold in each Victory, it's up to you.

With that ends the briefing part of the Warpath, but this is only a guide, and if you have your own strategy, you can use it! Feel free and enjoy the Warpath! Happy Hunting!
