Looting Time!
For all of you that have already completed one run of the Fiery Warpath, I assume that you must have something already from the Warmonger, as well as from other mice like the Cavalries and the Mages, especially one of the materials for the 3 super weapons of the Warpath. Those loots are:
- Oasis Bead, this is a very common drop for the first run, although some would not get this loot, but something better. This is used to make the Oasis Water Node Trap, which is still the best Hydro trap outside the Iceberg. Although it costs 2,000,800 gold (without counting the Oasis Bead) you will have less trouble with Hydro mice in the gane. It is especially useful when catching Mages in the Warpath.
- Sphynx Crystal, this loot, unlike the Oasis Bead is not commonly dropped by the Warmonger. This item is for the Sphynx Wrath trap, which costs 1,628,000 gold (not counting the 200 Flameshards) is the best Tactical trap in the game, even if you use it in the Zugzwang's Tower, but the main purpose is to catch Cavalry mice in the Warpath.
- Sandblasted Metal, this is the super-rare loot, that is used to make the strongest Physical trap in the game, the Sandstorm Monstrobot! With 8,000 power at hand (not counting Power Bonus and base bonus), most of the mice in the game will be outmatched. However, to build this trap you need, not one, but two Sandblasted Metal, and to buy it from the Marketplace is a pain, because it costs more than 10,000,000 gold. The trap itself costs 2,599,740 gold (not counting the Sandblasted Metal and the Flameshards), the most expensive one of all three, but it's really worth it, especially in the Warpath. I don't recommend selling this to buy other trap parts as this is a very rare drop.
- Orbs and Flameshards, you usually get Simple Orbs, although it isn't much, this is one of the main item used to craft the Warpath Cavalry and Warpath Mage charms. However, you can use it for anything else too. As for the Flameshards, you know what to do with them.
- Charms, the charms that you get, you can view in here, but I'm going to discuss the important ones only, one of them is the Ultimate Luck Charm. This charm is the best charm in the game, because it gives of +20 luck to your trap when equipped. People usually use it to catch super-hard mice with a low catch-rate, but use it wisely because it is very rare. The Ultimate Power Charm is not that effective, because it just gives off 2,400 Power and 20% Power Bonus. All of the other charms are common purchase able charms once you reach the Muridae Market (except for the Commander charm). As for the Warpath Commander's Charm, you know how to use it.
And that's all of the loot that the Warmonger will loot if you catch it. Most people get an Oasis Bead for their first Warmonger, but some people also get a Sphynx Crystal or even a Sandblasted Metal as their first loot. At the end of every run, you usually will also have about 150-200 Flameshards.
